What does the Job Involve?
Almost all cinema employees are cross-trained in all aspects of operations. Work duties include selling tickets and concessions, taking inventory, usher duties and general cleaning including
sweeping auditoriums between shows. Some employees are also trained upstairs in the booth to operate the movie projectors. Most employees favorite “job perk” (as you might expect) is that you get FREE ADMISSION to movies anytime!

What are the Hours?
We usually can schedule around your church, family, and school activities (sports, band, etc.). But, the cinema is open 365 days a year so you will have to work some weekends and holidays. Typically new employees start out at 2-3 days a week and average 12-15 hours. Some experienced workers can be scheduled up to 4 (even 5) days a week but they rarely work more than 32 hours a week.
When school is “in session” typical Monday through Thursday shifts are 4:00pm – 7:30pm. On Fridays the shifts are usually 4:00pm - 9:30pm. Sat & Sun. shifts are usually 1:15pm – 4:30pm or 6:15pm-9:30pm. Almost all employees go home by 9:30pm at the latest (except management). When school is out (summer & holidays) employees normally get a lot more hours (cinema opens daily at 1:30pm) and typical work shifts are the same as the weekend shifts listed above (Sat & Sun).
